My approach to therapy is integrative and client-centred, always grounded in compassion with a light touch of humour. I work with adolescents, teens, and parents, drawing from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy ACT, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy DBT, strength-based, solution-focused, and psychodynamic therapies to meet each individual where they are.
The teen years can be complex and, at times, overwhelming. Young people today face pressures related to school, friendships, identity, and family expectations. Anxiety, stress, self-esteem and relationship challenges can make it hard to know what to do or where to turn. Therapy offers a supportive space where teens can express themselves freely, feel understood, and develop tools to navigate life with greater confidence.
For parents, it can be difficult to watch your child struggle and not always know how to help. I work collaboratively with parents to better understand their child’s experience, strengthen communication, and support healthier, more connected relationships at home.
I also support individuals navigating anxiety, burnout, grief and loss and relationship difficulties, helping you process your experiences in a way that feels safe and meaningful, while finding ways to move forward at your own pace.
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing begins when you feel heard, supported, and understood. Whatever you are going through, you do not have to go through it alone. Therapy can be a space to develop new tools, gain fresh perspectives, and move forward with greater resilience and self-compassion.
